International Trade Show: A Unique Blend Of Culture And Tech, Featuring Drones And Ramayana

Held from September 25 to 29, 2024 in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, the UP International Trade Show provided a unique platform for global and local trade, culture and technological innovation. Inaugurated by Vice President, Jagdeep Dhankhar, the event featured addresses by Union Ministers Giriraj Singh, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Piyush Goyal and UP ministers Rakesh Sachan and Gopal Gupta Nandi to industrialists, artists and the media.

Showcasing Trade and Technological Innovation

The event not only highlighted UP's strengths in commerce but also offered a glimpse into cutting-edge innovations. Robotics and AI technologies were prominently displayed, with a special drone show by Robotech stealing the spotlight. The drone technology demonstrated how modern innovations can revolutionise agriculture, security and disaster management.

A major attraction was the AI-based 'Ramayana' show, presented by the Union Ministry of Culture. The show captivated audiences by blending India's rich mythological heritage with state-of-the-art technology, using AI to bring the epic to life in a vivid and immersive manner, showcasing the convergence of future technology and Indian culture.

Focus on Agriculture and Handloom Products

Uttar Pradesh's rich agricultural tradition and handicraft industry had a strong presence at the event. Stalls showcased organic products, modern farming techniques and traditional UP agricultural products. Handloom and handicraft stalls highlighted the skill and artistry of local craftsmen, featuring Banarasi saris, Lucknow's chikankari, Bhadohi carpets and other traditional crafts that caught the attention of the visitors.

Water Conservation Initiatives

The Uttar Pradesh government's Jal Shakti Department actively promoted water conservation and recycling through their stall. The various schemes and initiatives on display demonstrated the state's commitment to addressing the water crisis.

Cultural Diversity on Display

In addition to trade and technological innovation, the event also celebrated Uttar Pradesh's rich cultural heritage. Folk arts, music and dance performances from different parts of the state were a highlight. Artists from regions like Braj, Awadh and Bundelkhand mesmerised the audience with performances like Holi of Braj, Awadhi folk music and Bundelkhandi dance.

Alongside these live shows, the AI-generated Ramayana and UP Tourism Department's stall in Hall No. 4 created a magnetic attraction for the attendees.

Event's Achievement: Innovation, Employment & Trade

On the final day, OneIndia hosted a panel discussion on the event's achievements, with entrepreneurs, traders, organisers and special invitees sharing their insights.

Pooja Mishra, Senior VP of Marketing at Raphe mPhibr Pvt. Ltd., discussed the event from a business perspective. Limca Book of World Records nominee and owner of Citizen Metal Industry, Yogesh Chawala, emphasized how such events boost both business and the recognition of traders. Special invitee Vaibhav Porwal from Academiya and KK Rao, General Manager of India Expo Mart & Centre, highlighted the crucial role of innovation and infrastructure in enhancing the state's export potential.
