"Insult to My Sister Is Unbearable": Tej Pratap Yadav Defends Rohini Acharya Amid Family Feud

Tej Pratap Yadav has come out strongly in support of his sister Rohini Acharya after she levelled serious allegations against members of their own family.

Her decision to cut ties, leave the country and publicly narrate her experience has triggered a fresh wave of turmoil within the RJD circle. She had also claimed that a slipper was raised at her, a moment that reportedly left her shaken and deeply hurt.

Tej Pratap Expresses Deep Anguish

Sharing his emotional reaction online, Tej Pratap said he could no longer remain silent after what his sister allegedly faced. "I tolerated what happened to me. But the insult inflicted on my sister is unbearable under any circumstance," he wrote, recalling how he was removed from the family and the party by their father, Lalu Prasad Yadav. According to him, the situation has deeply affected him and disturbed his emotional state.

Sister Leaves India After Allegations

Rohini left for Singapore soon after her accusations surfaced, claiming harassment from within the home circle. Tej Pratap said the incident had turned his pain into rage and cautioned that Bihar's people would never forgive those responsible. "Ever since I heard the news of slippers being raised at my sister Rohini, the pain in my heart has turned into fire. When the sentiments of the public are hurt, the dust on the intellect is blown away. These few faces have clouded Tejaswi's intellect as well," he said while criticising unnamed individuals for influencing the family environment.

Warning And Demand For A Nod From Father

Tej Pratap went on to indicate that he is prepared for a confrontation if required, seeking approval from his father to protect family honor. "The consequences of this injustice will be extremely dire. The reckoning of time is very harsh. I request the honorable RJD National President and my father, my political guru, Shri Lalu Prasad Ji. Father, give me a signal... just one nod, and the people of Bihar will bury these Jaichands themselves. This fight is not about any party, it is about the honor of a family, the dignity of a daughter, and the self-respect of Bihar," he warned.

The Rift And Its Possible Roots

Tej Pratap had earlier been disowned and expelled from RJD after what the party labelled as irresponsible behaviour, shortly after he wrote online about being in a relationship. He later insisted that his account had been hacked. Meanwhile, Rohini has named Sanjay Yadav along with Rameez Khan, a close associate of Tejashwi Yadav, as the alleged catalysts behind the family split. According to her, she was pressured to withdraw from public life and move away from her family home.

In an emotional follow up message, she spoke of humiliation and allegations placed upon her following a disagreement over election matters. Rohini, who donated a kidney to her father in 2022, claimed she was accused of procuring a political ticket in exchange for a "dirty kidney," a charge that has now added to the ongoing controversy.
