Insensitive! Congress Slams BJP MP Kangana Ranaut For Laughing On Himachal Floods Question
BJP MP Kangana Ranaut is facing criticism from the Congress for her remarks during a visit to flood-affected areas in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. A video shared by Congress shows Ranaut commenting on disaster relief, saying, "Whether it's disaster relief or the disaster itself - I don't have any official cabinet. I have my two brothers who are always with me. That's my cabinet. So, it's just these two."
Congress expressed disapproval of Ranaut's comments, accusing her of not taking the situation seriously. The party highlighted the devastation caused by a cloudburst in Mandi, where many lives have been disrupted. They criticised Ranaut for arriving days later and making light-hearted remarks about not having a cabinet position.

Criticism from Congress Leaders
Supriya Shrinate, a Congress leader, also criticised Ranaut's response to the tragedy. She pointed out that even BJP's Jairam Thakur was left speechless by Ranaut's insensitivity. Shrinate questioned how Ranaut could joke and laugh when people had lost everything due to the cloudburst.
Ranaut visited the affected region on Sunday and expressed her sorrow over the situation. She acknowledged that families had lost their homes and loved ones. "We can only console the families who have lost their kin, and now it is time to provide relief," she stated.
