INLD Leaders Confident Of Winning Majority In Haryana Assembly Polls
Expressing optimism for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader and MLA Abhay Chautala has stated that his party is poised to secure around 35 seats. He emphasized that the INLD, in partnership with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), is expected to establish a government with a significant margin.
Chautala's remarks underline the party's robust groundwork and the deep trust they place in their cadre and the electorate at large. He highlighted the current political landscape in Haryana, suggesting a favourable tilt towards the INLD due to its strong foundation and committed workforce.

Moreover, Om Prakash Chautala, the INLD chief and former Chief Minister of Haryana, also shared his confidence in the party's ability to form the next state government. He left the decision of the Chief Minister's appointment to the elected representatives of the party, demonstrating the democratic ethos within the INLD. This sentiment also reflects the party's internal mechanism for leadership positions, emphasizing collective decision-making.
Both leaders criticized their political rivals for their approach towards leadership and reservations. Abhay Chautala pointed out the Congress party's reliance on external candidates, suggesting a lack of trust in its local leadership. He contrasted this with the INLD's faith in its party workers and the electorate. On the subject of reservations, Bahujan Samaj Party national coordinator, Akash Anand, accused both the Congress and the BJP of undermining reservations, reinforcing the INLD-BSP alliance's commitment to safeguarding these rights.
The INLD-BSP alliance, strengthened further by ties with the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), has been met with enthusiasm, as highlighted by Anand. He noted the positive reception on the ground, asserting that the alliance is on track to form the government in Haryana. His criticism of the Congress and BJP underscores the alliance's stance on reservations and positions it as a protector of these rights against perceived threats.
The upcoming electoral battle in Haryana, scheduled for October 5, with the vote count on October 8, is shaping up to be a significant political event. The alliances and strategies of the INLD, combined with its criticism of major parties like the Congress and BJP, lay the groundwork for a keenly contested election. The assertions made by leaders from the INLD and BSP highlight the political dynamics in Haryana and set the stage for an intriguing electoral contest.
