Infosys chief Narayana Murthy refuses to campaign for Nandan Nilekani

Bangalore, March 31: Infosys chief

refused to campaign for his ex-colleagues

and

for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

Despite his refusal to campaign for the two former Infosys men, Murthy, however, wished the very best for the election. Murthy, who claimed to be an apolitical person, said, "I am apolitical...as executive chairman of Infosys I have to treat every party with equal respect."

"...We should be working with every government, doesn't matter what hue, that comes into power on 17 May," Murthy added.

While speaking about Nilekani and Balakrishnan, Murthy said, "...they both are very intelligent...We need such people in politics. I wish them the best and want them to succeed. Our prayers are with both of them."

Both Nilekani and Balakrishnan are contesting general election with Congress and AAP ticket from Bangalore South and Bangalore Central respectively.
