Informed Pakistan Before World: PM Modi On Balakot Airstrikes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted his commitment to transparency, stating that he informed Pakistani authorities about the airstrike on a terror camp in Balakot before its public disclosure.

Speaking at a rally in Bagalkote, PM Modi asserted his commitment to transparency, stating, "I don't believe in attacking from the back."

He revealed that before informing the media about the airstrikes on a terror camp in Balakot, Pakistan, he attempted to inform Pakistani authorities via phone. However, as they did not answer, he instructed the forces to wait. After informing Pakistani authorities, the airstrikes were publicly disclosed. The Balakot airstrikes were conducted by the Indian Air Force on February 26, 2019, in response to a terrorist attack in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, on February 14, 2019.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed concern over the use of technology to create fake videos by those who had lost elections or feared losing. He highlighted the misuse of artificial intelligence to spread misinformation in his voice on social media, describing it as a significant threat.

He urged the public to report any such videos to the police or BJP workers, assuring that legal action would be taken against those responsible.

Modi emphasized the importance of voting, stating that their suplport would strengthen him and enable India to become the world's third-largest economy. He outlined plans to transform India into a manufacturing hub and a center for skills development, asserting that these goals could not be achieved by those who prioritize vacations.

Accusing the Congress government in Karnataka of transforming Bengaluru from a tech hub into a "tanker hub," Modi claimed that the government had supported the "tanker mafia" during the water crisis. He alleged that the mafia paid "commission" to the Congress.

The rally was attended by BJP leader B S Yediyurappa, as well as BJP candidates and MPs from Bagalkote and Vijayapura, P C Gaddigoudar and Ramesh Jigajinagi.
