Infiltration bid foiled in Jammu
Jammu, July 8: Border Security Force (BSF) troopers on Tuesday foiled an infiltration bid by militants at the international border in Jammu district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

"An infiltration bid by a group of four-five terrorists was foiled this morning (Tuesday) by BSF troopers in Arnia sub-sector of Jammu," BSF sources told IANS.

"Alert troopers fired after noticing suspicious movement on the international border at 4 a.m. on Tuesday, forcing the terrorists to withdraw back."

The BSF guards the international border in Jammu and Kashmir while the Line of Control is guarded by the army.

This is one of the latest infiltration bids to be filed in the past few weeks.
