IndiGo Expands Network with New Kolkata to Phuket Flights Starting December 27
IndiGo has announced the launch of direct flights from Kolkata to Phuket starting December 27. This will be IndiGo's second direct route to Phuket, following the existing service from Delhi. The airline aims to accommodate the increasing number of Indian tourists visiting Thailand. "We are pleased to further expand our network into Thailand, from Kolkata, now adding a daily flight to Phuket in addition to the existing 11 weekly flights to Bangkok," said Vinay Malhotra, head of global sales at IndiGo.

Expanding Connectivity and Tourism
The new route will boost IndiGo's international network and offer more travel options for Indian tourists. With this addition, IndiGo will operate 93 weekly flights between India and Thailand. Phuket, known for its beautiful beaches and cultural diversity, is expected to attract more visitors due to Thailand's visa-free policy for Indian citizens. The airline remains dedicated to providing affordable and timely travel experiences across its extensive network.
