IndiGo Shocker: Flight passenger goes missing
Patna, Dec 18: A passenger has gone missing from IndiGo flight and the airline officials were completely clueless about the whereabouts of the person. The incident took place in Patna on Thursday, Dec 17.
It has been reported that the passenger, who has been identified as Mudit Sharma, boarded the flight from Goa. He was going to Lucknow but de-boarded the flight at Patna during the 30-minute lay-over.

Mr Sharma's wife, who too was present in the flight, raised alarm when the flight was all set to take off from Patna. She complained that her husband was missing.
The airline official tried locate him. Mr Sharma did not event pick his mobile phones. Despite several announcements at the airport, Mr Sharma did not respond to the calls and the flight finally took off for Lucknow.
Airport authorities hinted at a fight between Mr and Mrs Sharma. Sources informed that the couple allegedly had a fight when the boarded the flight from Goa.
An investigation has been ordered by the airline. Meanwhile, airline officials, on the condition of anonymity, claimed that it was a case of security lapse and IndiGo needs to be more careful to avoid such incidents in future.
According to rules, except a few emergency situations, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) do not permit any transit de-boarding of passengers from aircraft.
The airline needs to inform the air traffic control (ATC) and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). However, in this case, neither the ATC nor the CISF was informed anything about Mr Sharma.
