Indian PM invites Bangladeshi counterpart to pay official visit to country
New Delhi, Aug 20: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina to make an official visit to India at the earliest, media reported.
PM Modi met Sheikh Hasina in New Delhi on Wednesday. Bangladesh PM came to pay last respects to President Pranab Mukherjee's wife Suvra Mukherjee who died on Tuesday.
PM Hasina has accepted the invitation.

Fondly recalling his visit to Bangladesh in earlier this year in June, PM Modi thanked Prime Minister Hasina for the progress achieved in timely and peaceful implementation of the Land Boundary Agreement.
Both the prime ministers welcomed the signing of the BBIN Motor Vehicle Agreement, and agreed to strengthen measures to increase regional connectivity.
