Indian Army Releases First Official Video Of Destroying Pakistan Post Along LoC

The Indian Army on Friday released a video of its counteroffensive, appearing to show the destruction of a Pakistani post. The Indian Air Force on Thursday night thwarted Pakistan's drone attacks along the Line of Control and International Border.

The Viral Video

The video depicts a projectile hitting and destroying a structure. While the Army did not provide details about the nature or exact location of the target, the footage was released following the Operation Sindoor montage and linked to an X post that highlighted the armed forces' response to Pakistan's provocation.

In a post, the Indian Army said: "OPERATION SINDOOR. Pakistan Armed Forces launched multiple attacks using drones and other munitions along the entire Western Border on the intervening night of 08 and 09 May 2025. Pak troops also resorted to numerous ceasefire violations (CFVs) along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. The drone attacks were effectively repulsed, and a befitting reply was given to the CFVs. The Indian Army remains committed to safeguarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Nation. All nefarious designs will be responded to with force."

These developments came after the Indian armed forces carried out precise missile strikes early Wednesday on nine terror targets located in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Pakistan, as part of Operation Sindoor. The strikes were in retaliation for the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam. On Thursday, the Ministry of Defence reaffirmed that any attack on Indian military sites would elicit a "suitable response."

In a statement issued late Thursday night, the ministry said, "Military stations at Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur were targeted by Pakistani-origin #drones and missiles along the International Border in J&K today."

"The threats were swiftly neutralised using kinetic and non-kinetic capabilities in line with the established standard operating procedures (SOPs). No casualties or material losses were reported. India remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and ensure the safety of its people," the statement added.
