Indian Army Gives Befitting Reply To Pakistan's Ceasefire Violation Along LoC

Amidst increasing tensions, Pakistan once again violated the ceasefire and opened up firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in the early hours of May 4, targeting several sectors opposite Jammu and Kashmir. The firing was reported from several regions, namely Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Rajauri, Mendhar, Naushera, Sunderbani, and Akhnoor.

The Indian Army retaliated promptly and effectively, asserting control over the situation. This confrontation adds to the strain following the Pahalgam incident, which resulted in the death of 26 individuals, the majority being tourists.

The Pakistani military has reportedly reorganized its operations into five principal operational groups across various locations, including Manshera, Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Bahawalpur, and Muridke. These areas have become focal points for coordinating militant training and terror activities. Notable among these is the "Alpha 3" control room in Muridke, identified as a key command center for orchestrating terror operations and facilitating militant infiltration into Kashmir. Other areas such as Balakot, Garhi Habibullah, and Batrasi in Manshera have also been highlighted as significant for their terrorist activities.

Intelligence inputs suggest that the Pakistani Army and the ISI are compelling civilians to house terrorists near military bases. Locations like Batrasi, Dudhnial, Shinkiari, and Chela Bandi are believed to serve as hideouts, forming part of a broader network supporting terrorism across the region. Additionally, it is believed that about 32 Pakistani military posts were active during the incident, with the gunfire seemingly aimed at aiding terrorist infiltration into India.

The Indian Army suspects that Pakistan's recent aggressive actions may be driven by the fear of potential retaliatory measures by India, as tensions continue to rise along both the Kashmir and Jammu stretches of the LoC. This situation underscores the fragile peace in the area and the constant threat of escalation.
