I had sex with Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi, says Indian actress, faces fatwa

Mumbai, Nov 2: Indian model-actress Arshi Khan faced a fatwa. A Pakistan issued the fatwa against Arshi for her post on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Arshi lately made headlines with her explosive statements regarding Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi and controversial self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa.

Speaking about Afridi and her relationship, Arshi wrote, "Yes, I had sex with Afridi! Do I need the Indian media's permission to sleep with someone? It's my personal life. For me it was love."

Initially Arshi had denied all reports regarding her relationship with the cricketer. It was reported that Arshi and Afridi had spent a romantic time in Dubai.

Both Arshi and Afridi called it rumour and overruled the reports. However, Arshi's shocking tweet surprised everyone. But Afridi did not make any comment on it.

Now, a Pakistani group issued fatwa against the actress. Media reports stated that a Muslim cleric or mufti from a Madrassa close to the Pakistan-Afghanistan border has issued a fatwa against Arshi.

She now claimed that she was upset with Pakistan as no one from the country spoke up supporting her.

Writing on Twitter, Arshi tweeted, "Very disappointed with Pakistan. Not a word of support for me from anyone against d fatwa. Wake up Pakistan @SAfridiOfficial."
