New Delhi, Dec 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid tributes to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on his 60th death anniversary here.

Modi paid tributes at a special events organised at the Parliament complex to mark his death anniversary. Modi was accompanied by Vice President Hamid Ansari, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran leader LK Advani, former prime minister Manmohan Singh.

Modi took to Twitter earlier and said: "I bow to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his Nirvan Divas. India will always be thankful to Babasaheb for his rich service to the nation."
