China face off: India wants peaceful resolution of the matter, says MEA

Ministry of External Affairs spokesman Gopal Baglay on Thursday said that India's approach has been always peaceful resolution for all border disputes.

While addressing the media, Baglay said,''Hoping to find peaceful resolution to all problems.''

    He also said India's stand is backed by all the Countries. China has reiterated that it won't talk to India until New Delhi withdraws troops from Doklam

    ''On forward movement, we have very clearly mentioned our stand. Let's not get into the details as of now,'' MEA Spokesperson said.

    He further said that diplomatic channels with China were never broken. They have been taking place.

    National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will be travelling to Beijing on July 27-28 to attend a BRICS meeting.
