India To Host Quad Summit In 2024: PM Modi
During the Quad meeting held in Hiroshima, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that India would host the Quad Summit in 2024.
Emphasizing the Quad's commitment to global welfare, prosperity, and peace, PM Modi stated, "Quad will continue to make efforts towards global good, the welfare of the people, prosperity, and peace."

He was attending the G7 summit in Hiroshima as a guest upon the invitation of PM Kishida, even though India is not a member of the G7 nations.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese expressed his delight at being among close friends once again and reaffirmed their joint commitment to an open, stable, secure, and prosperous Indo-Pacific region. He emphasized the importance of respecting sovereignty and ensuring that all countries, regardless of their size, benefit from the regional balance.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida highlighted their intention to listen to the voices of regional countries in ASEAN, South Asia, and the Pacific island states. Their goal is to engage in practical cooperation that genuinely benefits the region, acting as a force for good.
Speaking at the meeting, US President Joe Biden expressed his belief that the Quad would be viewed as a dynamic agent of change, not only in the region but in the world, in the coming decades. He commended the significant progress made by the Quad over the past two years.
