India SAT topper Shubh Agrawal’s inspiration is Stephen Hawking
India SAT topper Shubh Agrawal from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, wants to follow on the footsteps of noted physicist Stephen Hawking to understand the universe.
At 16, Lucknow boy Shubh Agrawal is an inspiration for many across the country. Shubh has recently topped the Scholastic Aptitude Test by scoring 1,590 out of 1,600. The exam is conducted by the College Board, US.
According to Hindustan Times, the teenager is probably India's highest scorer in the January 2017 SAT exam. The 16-year-old is also the recipient of the National Talent Search Examination award from the government of India. He has also qualified for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana test.
While Shubh has become an idol for many, the class 11 student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar branch, Lucknow, considers noted physicist Stephen Hawking as his 'hero'.

Shubh wants to understand the universe
One of Shubh's teachers told Hindustan Times that Hawking has had a profound influence on the teenager. Like the noted physicist, Shubh too wants to completely understand the universe.

Shubh aspires to be an astro-physicist
After reading Hawking's bestseller-- A Brief History of Time-Shubh too wants to become an astro-physicist. In fact, the teenager has his own telescope to study the sky from the rooftop of his house in Lucknow.

The shy and brilliant Lucknow boy
Mridula Agrawal, Shubh's mother, says her son is a shy guy, but self-driven when it comes to academics. "He clearly knows what he wishes to study and why. Till he achieves his goal, he is relentless in his efforts," she told Hindustan Times. In this picture, the youngster is seen having some fine time with his father, mother and sister.
