External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar addressed the Pandit Hriday Nath Kunzru Memorial Lecture 2024 on Bharat and the World at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi on Monday, February 26. During his speech, Jaishankar highlighted India's response to rising terrorism on the West front, particularly the Uri and Balakot strikes.

He pointed out that the G20 has surpassed the G7, and new groupings and mechanisms have emerged. The list of the world's top economies has changed, with India itself moving up six positions in the last decade.
