India Post GDS Result 2024: What Are The Expected Cut-Offs For Your Circle? Check Here

The official date and time for the India Post Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Result 2024 has not yet been announced. However, based on recent trends and the Times Now report, it is anticipated that the merit list will be released by the last week of August.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official India Post website at www.indiapost.gov.in for the most current updates on the GDS result date and other relevant details.

The GDS merit list for 2024 will be compiled based on the Class 10th marks of the applicants. Those who are included in the merit list will be considered for the next stages of the recruitment process. The registration period for India Post GDS was from July 15 to August 5, 2024. The merit list will be released on a circle-wise basis.

Here are the expected cut-off marks for various circles based on past trends:

1. For Andhra Pradesh, the expected cut-off for the Unreserved (UR) category is 95 per cent, while for Other Backward Classes (OBC) it is also 95 per cent. The Expected Cut Off for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST) are 93.42 per cent. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) have an expected cut-off of 91.83 per cent.

2. In Assam, the cut-off marks for UR is expected to be 92 per cent, with 89 per cent for OBC. The EWS cut-off is projected to be 86.67 per cent, while SC and ST categories have expected cut-offs of 86.33 per cent and 86.50 per cent respectively. The cut-off for PwD is expected to be 76.33 per cent.

3. Bihar is expected to have a higher cut-off, with 97.60 per cent for UR and 97 per cent for OBC. The EWS, SC, and ST categories are anticipated to have cut-offs of 95 per cent. For PwD, the cut-off is projected to be 86.17.

4. In Chhattisgarh, the expected cut-off for UR and OBC is 95. The EWS category is projected to have a cut-off of 93.10, while SC and ST are expected to have cut-offs of 91.50 per cent and 90.25 per cent. The PwD category is expected to have a cut-off of 87.40 per cent.

5. Gujarat's expected cut-off for UR is 92.80 per cent, for OBC is 92.20 per cent, and for EWS is 91.80 per cent. Scheduled Castes have an expected cut-off of 92.60 per cent, while Scheduled Tribes are expected to have a cut-off of 89.20 per cent. The PwD category is anticipated to have a cut-off of 80.40 per cent.

6. In Haryana, the expected cut-off for UR is 88 per cent, for OBC is 82 per cent, and there is no available data for EWS. The cut-off for SC is 81 per cent, and for ST it is also 81 per cent. PwD is expected to have a cut-off of 79 per cent.

7. Himachal Pradesh is anticipated to have a high cut-off with 98.17 per cent for UR, 95.80 per cent for OBC, and 95 per cent for EWS. The cut-offs for SC and ST are expected to be 93.10 per cent and 93.42 per cent respectively. PwD is projected to have a cut-off of 86.86 per cent.

8. For Jammu and Kashmir, the expected cut-off for UR is 97.67 per cent, for OBC is 96.40 per cent, and for EWS is 95.17 per cent. The SC category is expected to have a cut-off of 95 per cent, while the ST and PwD categories are anticipated to have cut-offs of 90.65 per cent and 87.40 per cent respectively.

9. Jharkhand is expected to have cut-offs of 97 per cent for UR and OBC, and 95 per cent for EWS, SC, and ST. The PwD category's expected cut-off is 91.20 per cent.

10. Karnataka's expected cut-off is 95 per cent for UR, 95.84 per cent for OBC, and 90.72 per cent for EWS. Scheduled Castes are anticipated to have a cut-off of 93.92 per cent, and Scheduled Tribes have an expected cut-off of 91.68 per cent. PwD is expected to have a cut-off of 89.12 per cent.

11. Kerala is expected to have a uniform cut-off of 95 per cent across all categories, including UR, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PwD, with the PwD category at 89.30 per cent.

12. Madhya Pradesh's expected cut-off is 95 per cent for UR, 96 for OBC per cent, and 91.50 per cent for EWS. Scheduled Castes are expected to have a cut-off of 94 per cent, while Scheduled Tribes are projected to have a cut-off of 88.17 per cent. PwD's expected cut-off is 87.20 per cent.

13. Maharashtra is expected to have a cut-off of 95.80 per cent for UR, 94 per cent for OBC, and 94 per cent for EWS. Scheduled Castes are projected to have a cut-off of 92.67 per cent, and Scheduled Tribes are expected to have a cut-off of 93.33 per cent. The PwD category is anticipated to have a cut-off of 88 per cent.

14. In the North Eastern region, the expected cut-off for UR is 93 per cent, OBC is 93.43 per cent, and EWS is 91.57 per cent. The cut-off for SC is 77 per cent, ST is 77 per cent, and PwD is projected to be 85.71 per cent.

15. Odisha's expected cut-off is 88.17 per cent for UR, 90.50 per cent for OBC, and 88 per cent for EWS. The SC category is anticipated to have a cut-off of 90 per cent, while ST is expected to be 84.17 per cent. PwD's cut-off is projected to be 85.17 per cent.

16. For Punjab, the expected cut-off is 98.40 per cent for UR, 95 per cent for OBC, and 92 per cent for EWS. The SC and ST categories are anticipated to have cut-offs of 95 per cent. The PwD category is projected to have a cut-off of 87.69 per cent.

17. In Rajasthan, the expected cut-off for UR is 95 per cent, for OBC is 95 per cent, and for EWS is 92.50 per cent. The cut-offs for SC and ST are projected to be 93.67 per cent and 93.10 per cent respectively. The PwD category is expected to have a cut-off of 87.40 per cent.

18. Tamil Nadu's cut-off is expected to be 98 per cent for UR, 97 per cent for OBC, and 96.20 per cent for EWS. The SC category is anticipated to have a cut-off of 97 per cent, and the ST category is expected to be 96 per cent. PwD is projected to have a cut-off of 89 per cent.

19. Telangana is expected to have a cut-off of 95 per cent for UR and OBC, and 93.42 per cent for EWS. The cut-offs for SC and ST are projected to be 93.42 per cent and 95 per cent respectively, with PwD expected to be 91.83 per cent.

20. In Uttar Pradesh, the expected cut-off is 97.33 per cent for UR, 97.80 per cent for OBC, and 93.10 per cent for EWS. The SC category is anticipated to have a cut-off of 97.33 per cent, ST is expected to be 97.47 per cent, and PwD is projected to be 92 per cent.

21. Uttarakhand's cut-off is expected to be 95 per cent for UR, 95 per cent for OBC, and 93.10 per cent for EWS. Scheduled Castes are anticipated to have a cut-off of 90.80 per cent, and Scheduled Tribes are expected to be 94.67 per cent. The PwD category's expected cut-off is 85.40 per cent.

22. West Bengal is anticipated to have a cut-off of 96.83 per cent for UR, 95.29 per cent for OBC, and 90.86 per cent for EWS. Scheduled Castes are expected to have a cut-off of 93.57 per cent, while Scheduled Tribes are projected to be 88.71 per cent. The PwD category is anticipated to have a cut-off of 85.14 per cent.
