India Issues NOTAM, Shuts Airspace For Pakistan
Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated following the Pahalgam terror attack. On Wednesday, India issued a Notice to Air Mission (NOTAM) and closed its airspace for Pakistan-registered, operated, or leased aircraft, airlines, and military flights. According to the reports, no Pakistani aircraft will be allowed to enter Indian air space with effect from April 30 to May 23, 2025.

A source reported that India's decision to close its airspace is a retaliatory measure against Islamabad's decision to close its airspace for India, and now India has done the same.
India latest strategic move would compel Pakistani airlines to reroute flights over countries like China or Sri Lanka to go Southeast Asian countries.

The source also reported that the government is also considering a ban on Pakistani ships at Indian ports.
In the face of continuous, unprovoked firing from the Pakistani side, the Indian Army's robust counter-offensive has not only targeted several critical areas across the LoC and International Border but has also forced a noticeable retreat among Pakistani forces. This response, characterized by "precision and force," has evidently unsettled Pakistani soldiers, compelling them to abandon their posts and lower their flags, actions that symbolize a significant drop in morale and an apparent tactical retreat.
The situation along the LoC remains tense, with the Indian Army maintaining a strong stance in the face of continued provocation. This development, involving the withdrawal of Pakistani soldiers and the lowering of their national flags, represents a noteworthy change in the dynamics at the border, reflecting an increase in pressure and a potential rethink of strategy by Pakistani forces amidst escalating tensions.
