Incredible MP! 19 Vehicles In CM's Convoy Break Down After Petrol Pump Allegedly Fills Diesel Mixed With Water

In a surprising turn of events, nineteen vehicles from Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's convoy broke down after refuelling with contaminated diesel. The incident took place late Thursday night when the convoy stopped at a petrol station. Unbeknownst to them, the fuel was allegedly mixed with water, causing significant disruption.

Some vehicles managed to leave the station but stalled on the highway shortly after. Others couldn't even move from the pump. The petrol station has since been sealed due to this contamination issue. CM Yadav was in Ratlam for a regional industry skill and development conclave, and these vehicles were meant to be part of his convoy on Friday.

Contaminated Diesel Incident

A video shared by Press Trust of India showed the aftermath, with several vehicles needing to be towed away. Shubham Parmar, a driver from the convoy, explained that they had travelled from Indore for the Chief Minister's programme. "We came from Indore and got down at a petrol pump and refuelled," he said.

Parmar further mentioned that while some vehicles left the petrol pump and stopped on the highway, others didn't make it past the pump itself. Upon checking, they discovered that water had mixed with the diesel, prompting them to alert local officials about the situation.

Investigation Underway

Ashish Upadhyay, the local naib tehsildar, confirmed that an investigation is ongoing. He had questioned the petrol pump authorities who suspected that recent rainwater might have seeped into the diesel tanks, leading to contamination. Efforts are being made to locate and question the owner of the establishment.

This incident highlights potential vulnerabilities in fuel storage systems during heavy rains. It underscores the need for stringent checks and maintenance protocols at fuel stations to prevent such occurrences in future.
