In Pics: Another militant killed, Pampore encounter enters 3rd day

Oct 12: Another militant was killed by security forces on Wednesday as the Pampore encounter entered the third day on Wednesday.

Officials said that the bodies of the two militants (one who was killed on Tuesday) were recovered.

Militants have been hiding in the Entreprenuership Development Institute (EDI) near Srinagar since Monday morning. Several parts of the building were blown up even as militants set fire to a few mattresses to attract the attention of the security officials.

Security officials say that the encounter is in the last stages as the combing operations are underway.
