Tirumala, Jan 11: This is a definite feast for your eyes. The 25 day annual 'Adhyayanotsavams' festival at the Srivari temple, which began from December 31 will conclude with 'Tanniramuda' festival on Jan 25.
At the festival, vedic pandits will recite 4,000 pasurams from the Alwar divya prabandham inside the temple. The first 11 days are known as 'Pagalpattu' and the next ten days are known as 'Rapattu'.
The 22nd day is known as 'kanninunn siruttambu' and the 23 rd day is known as 'ramanuja nutrandadi' followed by 'varaha swamy sattumurai' on day 24 and finnally 'tanniramudu' on day 25.
The temple is a visual treat for your eyes as it is decorated with flowers from the inside and lights from the outside and looks completely mesmerising at night.
