'In Modi Ji's World...': Rahul Gandhi Reacts To His LS Speech Getting Expunged
In his debut as Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi's remarks sparked controversy when they were expunged from parliamentary records.
He slammed this decision, stating, "In Modi ji's world, truth can be expunged. But in reality, the truth can't be expunged."

Gandhi accused the BJP of dividing people on communal lines, triggering protests from the treasury benches. Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded by condemning Gandhi for allegedly portraying the entire Hindu community as violent.
During his speech on the Motion of Thanks on the President's address, Gandhi quoted Prophet Muhammad and cited various religious figures like Lord Shiva, Guru Nanak, and Jesus Christ to emphasize the importance of fearlessness.
He said, "All religions and great people say, 'daro mat, darao mat' (do not be scared, do not scare others)."
The uproar led to portions of his speech, including allegations against the BJP, criticism of industrialists Adani and Ambani, and remarks on the NEET exam, being expunged.
Similar expungements occurred during Mallikarjun Kharge's speech in the Rajya Sabha, where words like 'Satyanash', 'Ghamand', and 'Mujra' were removed, along with accusations against PM Modi for societal division and spreading misinformation.
