IMD Weather Alert: Avalanche-Prone Areas in Himachal, Uttarakhand, J&K; Orange Alert in Lahaul & Spiti

A severe avalanche occurred near Badrinath Dham, entrapping 57 workers on the National Highway close to Mana. In Kishtwar, an avalanche hit Beighpura on February 27, fortunately without causing any fatalities.
