Illegal immigrants from Kashmir held in London
London, Aug 21: London police on Tuesday night found a group of illegal immigrants in the back of a lorry in Somerset. Reportedly, the immigrants have told police they are from Kashmir, said a TOI report.

Police refused to part with more details. The UK has a large immigrant population from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. According to police, the immigrants were suffering from severe dehydration.

It is known that there were women and a 15-year-old boy in the group. They told police they were from Eritrea and Kashmir. Immigration authorities have taken them on custody for further questioning.

The lorry belonged to a German national, who has been arrested for allegedly facilitating the group's illegal immigration into the UK.

The immigrants were found after the police received a number of calls about noises coming from the lorry.
