Dehradun Police Bust Illegal Drug Manufacturing Factory, Arrest Three Individuals
An illegal drug manufacturing operation was uncovered on Friday in Dehradun, leading to the arrest of three individuals, including the factory owner. The facility was disguised as a herbal factory in the Sahaspur area, according to police reports.

A collaborative effort by the police, drug department, and Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) targeted Green Herbal Company on Langha Road. A significant amount of illegal drugs and syrups were seized from the accused during this operation.
Arrests and Interrogations Reveal More Suspects
The factory owner, Sanjay Kumar, along with his partners Shivkumar and Rehman, were apprehended at the scene. During questioning, they disclosed the involvement of two additional individuals, Rishabh Jain and Kanhaiya Lal, in the illegal drug production.
Authorities are actively working to apprehend these two suspects as well. Sanjay revealed that he previously worked in a factory in Selaqui where Usman, the owner, produced illegal drugs. This experience provided him with knowledge about drug sales and demand.
Background of the Illegal Operation
Usman was arrested by Punjab Police three years ago. Following this, Sanjay obtained a food license under the name Green Herbal Company in 2023. He then began producing narcotic drugs under this guise.
The authorities continue their investigation to dismantle this network and prevent further illegal drug production. The case highlights ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crimes in the region.
