IIT JEE Advanced Result 2016 declared; check the results here

New Delhi, June 12: Wait for IIT aspirants is over as the IIT JEE Advanced 2016 Results have been declared.

Over lakhs of engineering aspirants who appeared for the JEE Advanced 2016 can check their results on the official website - http://www.jeeadv.ac.in/.

Lakhs of engineering aspirants toiled for months and appeared for the most popular engineering entrance test to get admitted into Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

The result of IIT Jee Main 2016 was declared on April 27.

This year, the JEE Main 2016 exam was conducted in both online as well as offline format. The JEE Main offline test (pen and paper based) took place on April 3, while the online test (computer based) test for Paper 1 and Paper 2 was held on April 9 and April 10, 2016 respectively.

Those who cleared the Mains appeared for JEE (Advanced) to get admission into IIT.
Admission into the prestigious institute takes place on the basis of the All India Rank (AIR) secured by a candidate in JEE Main 2016 and class 12th score.

The JEE Main score will include marks obtained in the paper 1 ( offline and online) and list of those aspirants who qualify for JEE Advanced.
