IIT JAM 2025 Registration: Last Day To Register For Prestigious MSc And PhD Courses
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is set to close the registration window for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) today. Candidates who wish to apply for the exam can do so through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) by visiting the official website.
The JAM exam is a key entry point for students aiming to pursue Master of Science (MSc) or MSc-PhD combined courses at 22 IITs and other participating institutions across India. This highly competitive exam will take place on February 2 at 100 centres nationwide. The results are expected to be announced on March 16.

JAM 2025 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and will feature seven different test papers. The exam will include three types of objective questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
Candidates who qualify will be eligible for approximately 3,000 seats at IITs for the academic year 2025-26. No additional evaluation will be required beyond the JAM score.
To complete the registration, candidates must provide basic personal details, academic qualifications, their preferred exam centre city, and identification documents. The application process also includes a mandatory fee payment.
How To Register For IIT JAM 2025
1. Visit the JOAPS portal at jam2025.iitd.ac.in.
2. Register by entering your personal and academic details.
3. Complete the application form by uploading a recent photograph and necessary documents, including your signature.
4. Pay the required application fee.
5. Review all the provided information and submit the application.
Successful candidates will also be eligible for more than 2,000 seats at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and various National Institutes of Technology (NITs) through the CCMN counselling process, which follows the JAM results.
