'...if she wants to spend nights with 1,000 men': Ayodhya Mahant slams Swara Bhasker for marrying Fahad Ahmad

Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has been receiving criticism and hate ever since she announced her marriage with Samajwadi Party's Fahad Ahmad. The latest to this is Ayodhya Mahant Raju Das who gave an ultimatum to the her for marrying a Muslim.

Criticising Swara Bhasker's marriage to Samajwadi Party's Fahad Ahmad, Ayodhya Mahant Raju Das said she should have not have got married in the first place if she is an empowered woman.

''But congratulations to her if she wants to spend nights with 1,000 men. Because she got married to a community where brothers and sisters get married and then do talaq, talaq, talaq,'' Raju Das said.

''Swara Bhasker has openly chanted Insha Allah and Bharat tere tukde honge. She got married to a person whom she addressed as 'bhai' 10 days ago and asked him to get married soon,'' Ayodhya Mahant said.

Earlier, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Sadhvi Prachi made some indirect communal remarks against Swara and Fahad' wedding. ''Swara Bhasker has always been against the Hindu religion. I was sure that she would marry someone not from the religion. She married a Muslim,'' Sadhvi Prachi told News24.

On February 16, Swara Bhasker announced that she has tied the knot with politician Fahad Ahmad. "Sometimes you search far and wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart Fahad Zirar Ahmad.''

The 'Veere Di Wedding' star shared the news on her social media accounts and also tagged Ahmad, who is the state president of Samajwadi Party's youth wing - Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha.

The couple got married by submitting their documents in court as per the Special Marriages Act. She was showered by congratulatory messages from friends, celebs, fans and followers.
