IED defused in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 24: Security forces on Friday defused an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by terrorists under a highway flyover here, averting a major tragedy.

"A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) patrol detected an IED under the Hyderpora flyover in Srinagar," a police officer said.

"The bomb disposal squad successfully defused it."
