IED blast in Assam; no casualties, injuries reported
Guwahati, Aug 11: An improvised explosive device (IED) went off on Thursday in a drain in Badalbheta village in Doom Dooma area of Tinsukia district, media reported.
Any casualties or injuries are yet to be reported. More details awaited.

This blast occurred around a week after, at least 14 people lost their lives and 15 others were injured when militants opened fire in a market in Kokrajhar district in Assam.
Border areas have been sealed as the police launched a massive combing operation post Kokrajhar attack.
