IBPS RRB Recruitment: Provisional Allotments Announced For Clerk, PO, And SO

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the provisional allotment results for the IBPS RRB Clerk 2024 (Office Assistant), IBPS RRB PO 2024 (Scale 1, Scale 2, and Scale 3 Officer), and IBPS RRB SO 2024 (Specialist Officer) recruitment examinations, according to a Hindustan Times (HT) report.

Candidates who appeared for these examinations can now access their results on the official IBPS website at ibps.in. Alongside the results, IBPS has also released the state and category-wise cut-off marks for the recruitment process.

Merit-Based Selection Process

The IBPS RRB Clerk results have been prepared based on a merit-cum-preference system while considering government guidelines on reservations, administrative exigencies, and other relevant factors.

In instances where two or more candidates have achieved the same score, IBPS has resolved the merit order by giving preference to the older candidate as per their date of birth.

Reserve List Of Candidates

IBPS has also announced a reserve list of candidates, which will be used if Regional Rural Banks report additional vacancies within one year of the result declaration. This reserve list will expire on December 31, or earlier if fresh provisional allotments are made.

The institute stated: "If no vacancy is furnished by the RRBs owing to exigencies or otherwise during the validity period, the candidates under the reserve list will not be considered for provisional allotment. The reserve list will expire automatically without any further notice."
