I will eat beef if I want, nobody can stop me: Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru, Oct 29: Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday attacked the Narendra Modi Government at Centre over the recent beef row and growing incidents of religious intolerance.

Addressing a gathering, Siddaramaiah launched scathing attack at the BJP and the RSS, stating he will eat beef now and nobody can question him.

"I will eat beef now. Who are you to question me?. Though I've not consumed beef till now, I will do it now. It's my right" reports quoted Siddaramaiah.

Targeting BJP and Sangh, he said that they cannot take away the rights of individuals.

Siddaramaiah termed the recent Dadri lynching incident 'inhumane' and slammed the growing intolerance prevailing in the nation.

"The right wing parties including Bajarang Dal, Sri Rama Sene, Vishwa Hindu Parishat etc. are all showing intolerance under BJP's regime," he said.
