Sukesh today is all over the news for allegedly trying to help Sasikala Natarajan's nephew, T T V Dinakaran strike a deal of Rs 50 crore to bag the AIADMK's symbol. Sukesh was arrested by the Delhi police on Monday and questioned. During his questioning, he said that he was tasked with bribing Election Commission of India officials to bag the AIADMK's symbol.

The symbol had been frozen by the EC after the O Panneerselvam camp staked a claim for the same. The two leaves symbol became important for both factions ahead of the R K Nagar by-poll which had to be countermanded by the EC after corruption charges were levelled during the campaigning.
