Hyderabad: Passenger from Dubai attempts suicide inside plane

, April 6: Flight attendants at Hyderabad airport were shocked to find a passenger inside a plane which just landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. The man tried to kill self.

According to Hyderabad Police, the man allegedly attempted to commit suicide. The flyer, identified as Mohd Imtiyaz, (aged around 30-35 years), slit his throat using a blade in the washroom of the flight which arrived from Dubai.

"He (Imtiyaz) has been admitted to a hospital and is still unconscious," RGIA police inspector A Krishnaiah said.

Imtiyaz is a resident of Maddannapet area in Hyderabad. Police said they were trying to ascertain the motive behind Imtiyaz taking the extreme step.
