, a 40-year-old man died while his wife and three daughters survived after consuming sleeping pills in a hotel room in S R Nagar area here this evening, police said.

Anil Kumar, who was in the real-estate business, decided to end the life along with his family at a hotel room because of financial problems, police said. A hotel staff member found Anil and others lying on the floor when he entered the room. While Anil Kumar died, other survived. Further probe is on.
