Husband assaults wife for painting PM Modi, Adityanath

Shamsher Khan, the father of Nagma, claimed that his son-in-law thrashed his daughter for painting the BJP leaders.

A man allegedly beat up his wife for painting portraits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh.

Shamsher Khan, the father of Nagma, claimed that his son-in-law thrashed his daughter for painting the BJP leaders.

"Her husband called her insane for painting those pictures," said Shamsher Khan

Khan further alleged that her husband called her "insane" and just threw her out saying "she has lost mental balance".

Anil Kumar, SP Ballia, said that a case has been registered and assured further action as the probe progresses.

The complaint was filed by Nagma Praveen's father Shamsher Khan against six people including her husband, Pervez Khan, at Sikandarpur police station, Superintendent of Police, Anil Kumar said today.
