Hurry! Grab your AirAsia India cheap fares starting at Rs 699

Bengaluru, Feb 4: In an attempt to woo more and more air passengers, the budget carrier AirAsia India has extended its promotional offer starting at as low as Rs 699 fares on all advance bookings.

The low fare offer is applicable till February 8, 2015 for the travel duration starting from August 3, 2015 to March 26, 2016, according to the airline's website.

Earlier, the offer was valid till Sunday, Feb 1, 2015.

Under the current offer, Bengaluru-Chennai route are priced at Rs 699 (all-inclusive), Bengaluru-Kochi at Rs 899, Bengaluru-Goa tickets are priced from Rs 1,099, Bengaluru-Pune at Rs 1,499, Bengaluru-Jaipur and Bengaluru-Chandigarh at Rs 1,999.

AirAsia India is a three-way joint venture between Malaysian budget airline AirAsia, Tata Sons and Telestra Tradeplace, with AirAsia holding majority 49 per cent stake in the carrier.

The airline carried 3.28 lakh passenger in the first seven months of its operations (June 2014-December 2014) with a market share of 0.5 per cent.

Meanwhile, joining the airfare war, the budget passenger carrier SpiceJet also launched its discount scheme starting at Rs 1,599 for one way advance booking on all direct and onward flights, to lure more passengers on the occasion of Valentine's Day, Feb 14.

The scheme is valid on all direct and onward flights on SpiceJet's domestic network.
