Hunt for Modi's successor on: Anandibhen to be next Guj CM?

According to sources, there is a possibility of Gujarat minister Anandiben Patel taking over as the new CM. She is Modi's long-time confidant since the day she entered BJP in 1988 while being the principal of a well-run school in Ahmedabad, says an India Today report.
The 72-year-old is a powerful minister in Gujarat cabinet, who holds four top portfolios including Revenue and Urban Development and Roads and Buildings.
The initial leads show that the BJP and its allies are moving towards a giant win in the Lok Sabha elections. All the exit polls had predicted a NDA government at the Centre.
