HRD Minister Smriti Irani to visit Amethi on August 23
Amethi, Aug 22: Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani will arrive here on Sunday, Aug 23 and distribute insurance coverage to 25,000 women in the constituency.
Irani, who had unsuccessfully contested from here against Congress Vice President, will distribute the insurance under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna (PMSBY), BJP District President in Amethi, Durgesh Tiwari told PTI.

The scheme offers a renewable one-year accidental death-cum-disability cover of Rs two lakh for a premium of Rs 12 per year for each beneficiary as subscriber.
Tiwari said, prior to this, the minister would go to village Matiyari (under Jagdishpur Assembly segment) to meet the family members of late BJP leader Sant Bux Singh. Singh was killed in a road accident a few days ago.
