HP: 8 persons feared washed away as car plunges in Beas river
Shimla, Nov 5: Eight persons were feared to have been washed away on Wednesday, Nov 4, night when their car plunged into Beas river at Dabara in Mandi district, police said.
One person has been rescued so far while frantic search by rescue teams is on to locate the eight missing persons.

The incident occurred when the Inova in which they were travelling fell in the river near Aut in the district, about 200 km from Shimla, police said.
The occupants were on their way from Chamba to Kullu-Manali, police said, adding more details are awaited.
