How To Book An Entire Train Or Coach Online Without IRCTC App: FTR Website Guide

Indian Railways allows passengers to book an entire train or individual coach online through its dedicated Full Tariff Rate (FTR) website. To reserve a coach, a registration fee of Rs 50,000 per coach is required. However, premium trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, and Vande Bharat are excluded from this facility.

With the festive and wedding seasons approaching, many families prefer booking a full train or coach to transport wedding parties or large groups. Important Restrictions

Not all trains are available for charter bookings. The FTR website primarily lists mail/express and intercity trains, while premium trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, and Vande Bharat are not available for private bookings.

Coach bookings are also restricted during festive and peak seasons. According to IRCTC, bookings will not be available during:
