Sons and Four Others Arrested for Hotelier's Murder in Muzaffarnagar Over Property Dispute
A week after a hotelier was killed in Shamli district, police have arrested his two sons and four others for the alleged murder. The main shooter, Jaiveer, was apprehended following an encounter with the police. Shiv Kumar Kamboj, 60, was shot dead while walking on Canal Road on the morning of September 1.

Details of the Arrest
According to the police, Kamboj's sons, Shobhit and Mohit, allegedly paid Rs 10 lakh to shooters Jaiveer and Ashu to kill their father. This was reportedly done after Kamboj transferred property worth crores to his second wife. The other accused were identified as Omveer and Rahul Sharma.
All six suspects were arrested on Saturday night. Jaiveer was injured during the encounter with the police and is currently hospitalised. Two pistols and two motorcycles used in the crime have been seized from the accused.
Police Statements
Shamli Superintendent of Police Ram Sevak Gautam confirmed the arrests and provided details about the case. "Jaiveer was apprehended following an encounter in which he sustained an injury and has been admitted to a hospital," Gautam said. He also mentioned that Saharanpur DIG Ajay Kumar has announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for the police team for solving the case.
