Hisar's New Maharaja Agrasen Airport Set To Boost Regional Connectivity
Punjab and Rajasthan, which are adjacent to Haryana, will also be able to take advantage of it.
The airport in Hisar, Haryana is ready. Soon, planes will take off from Maharaja Agrasen Airport. This will benefit the people of the state. Travelling to states like UP and Gujarat will become easier with the opening of this airport.
On Thursday, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the state government will start flights from five states, including Chandigarh, from Maharaja Agrasen Hisar Airport. An agreement has been reached with Air Aviation Limited Airlines regarding flights from Maharaja Agrasen Airport.

People of the state will soon be able to fly from Hisar. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of travelling by air in slippers will be fulfilled in Haryana too. The government officials said that the Haryana government has applied online for permission to the DGCA and it is expected that permission will be granted soon.
In such a scenario, people will be able to reach neighbouring states in three to four hours. After this, flights to five states including Chandigarh will start from Maharaja Agrasen Airport. Flights will be started to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, Ahmedabad in Gujarat, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Jammu from this airport.
Punjab and Rajasthan, which are adjacent to Haryana, will also be able to take advantage of it. The fare has not been fixed yet.
