Hindu Group In Indore Forces Zomato Delivery Agent To Remove Santa Costume | WATCH

A Hindu outfit in Indore forced a food delivery agent to remove his Santa Claus costume while delivering an order on Christmas.

A video of the incident, now viral on social media, captures the Zomato delivery agent being questioned by Sumit Hardia, the district convenor of the 'Hindu Jagran Manch'.

"Are you delivering an order by dressing up as Santa Claus?" Hardia asked the delivery agent, who nodded and confirmed. He further inquired, "Do you ever go to people's homes dressed as Lord Ram on Diwali?" To this, the delivery agent replied, "No, but now the company has asked me to wear this costume."

The delivery agent was subsequently compelled to remove the costume.

Hardia told the agent, "We are Hindus, what message are we giving to children? Is it necessary that the message can only be conveyed if you dress up as Santa Claus? If you truly want to send a message, dress up as Bhagat Singh or Chandrashekhar Azad."

In the footage, Hardia also remarks that the majority of food deliveries are made to Hindus and claims that India is a "Hindu rashtra."

He alleged that such "temptations" are often tactics for religious conversion and criticised the intentions of food delivery companies, questioning, "What is their purpose in making agents wear such costumes?"
