Hindu activists booked for derogatory Facebook post

Muzaffarnagar, Dec 21: Three Hindu activists have been booked for allegedly posting derogatory comments against the minority community on a social networking site.

A case was registered against the founder of Akhil Bharat Hindu Yuva Morcha, Shiv Om Mishra and two others, Deepak Prakash Shukla and Jai Sanvant for posting objectionable content on Facebook under relevant sections of IPC yesterday, SHO Chaman Singh Chawda said.

The complainant Mustakerm had alleged that Mishra posted derogatory comments against the Muslim community, whereas Shukla and Sanvant shared the post, police said.
