Himachal Pradesh: Virbhadra Singh's Son Vikramaditya Singh Makes A U-Turn On His Resignation
Hours after Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh, son of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, announced to resign from his post in the state's Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Government, he made a U-turn. After talking to Congress' high command on the phone and meeting with senior Congress leaders DK Shivkumar and Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who were named as in charge to steady the ongoing political uproar.
Earlier today, Vikramaditya Singh had accused Chief Minister Sukhu of "negligence" of MLAs and "disrespecting" his late father.

"I have spoken to the observers that were sent by the party high command. The organisation is more important than one individual. Keeping the organisation strong is every individual's responsibility. In the larger interest of the party and the unity of the party, I will not press my resignation that was rejected by the chief minister earlier today," Vikramaditya Singh said.
Congress MP Rajeev Shukla said "Our party observers who have come to Shimla are talking to the party MLAs and taking their opinion. First, they met the PCC Chief and also met Vikramaditya Singh. CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has said that he is not going to accept his resignation and he has also agreed not to press on his decision to resign."
