Himachal Pradesh elections: Congress defamed 'Devabhoomi', says Shah
Amit Shah would address 10 rallies in as many assembly constituencies, spread over seven districts of poll-bound Himachal Pradesh.
BJP president Amit Shah on Monday berated the Virabhadra Singh-led Congress government in Himachal Pradesh during a public rally in Banikhet ahead of assembly elections in 2017.
Amit Shah said, "The Congress government has defamed 'Devabhoomi' all over the country through its action. Wherever corruption is discussed anywhere in the country, Virbhadra Singh's name is in the headlines."

" The Congress government has made Himachal Pradesh number one in corruption and felony," he said.
"For the last three years, our opponents have not been able to level a single corruption charge against the Modi government in the centre."
Shah alleged that Virbhadra Singh's government is not allowing all pro-poor welfare schemes launched by the Modi government to reach the people of Himachal Pradesh. He assured that the BJP is committed to a transparent and popular government in the state.
Amit Shah would address 10 rallies in as many assembly constituencies, spread over seven districts of poll-bound Himachal Pradesh.
He would campaign in the state for five days and address rallies at Chhalwara in Jwali on 30 October, at Toki in Indora and Rajgarh in Pachhad on 31 October and in Seraj and Hamirpur on 1 November.
The state is going to polls on 9 November 2017. The term of current Legislative Assembly ends on 7 January 2018. Since 2013, the Indian National Congress Party is in power with 36 seats. The lone opposition party is the BJP with 27 seats.
