A billionaire, who now lives in Saudi Arabia, has filed nomination as an independent candidate in the upcoming Himachal Pradesh assembly elections.
Prakash Rana, Indian-born billionaire merchant dealing in diamonds and owner of multiple companies residing in Saudi Arabia has arrived six months prior to the elections in Himachal Pradesh to contest from Joginder Nagar constituency in Mandi district, says Dainik Bhaskar.
Rana told ANI, "It was my father's dream to serve people. I'm here to do that. I have always donated 10 per cent of my income for people's welfare."
